"... (Meg) has a lovely flowing movement around the stock and is in all the right spots without getting in the way... She was thrown in the deep end a bit, didn't start her out slowly with only a few sheep, but she has handled herself very well. So far she has worked goats, damaras and merino's and a mix of cross breeds in there as well. She has a lovely amount of eye, knows when to push and when to ease up on them. If she is eyeing a sheep and its getting left behind she will actually jump at its nose to get it going again. If some break away from a gate and run down the fence she is able to bring them back no worries...
Mostly I am able to leave her to continue pushing the sheep through the gates if we have to go through more than one when we are shifting them, she carries on and I go along behind closing the gates we have been through.
We have sent away 20 decks of goats and every trucky has said "thats a bloody good dog ya got there, showing lotsa promise".
There has been another adult kelpie in the yards which was totally useless, constantly in the way and doing the wrong thing. Meg is already miles ahead in intelligence.
I haven't managed to get any good pics yet. Its a bit hard when we are both trying to work, but here are some to give you a rough idea.

"Jill is going really well I have only shown her cattle a few times for short periods, right from the start she has shown natural herding ability does not bark at all and I am sure will be a good biter later on, when with stock she takes no notice of any other dogs that may be there just focuses on what she reckons is the best thing to do which I like a lot."
